A built-in translator sees one sentence at a time, so names, double meanings, and sayings trip it up. dragoman reads the whole page first, so it knows what each sentence means.

What is a dragoman?
Dragomans were the interpreters and guides who carried words between the Ottoman court and Europe's envoys and merchants. The work called for Turkish, Arabic, and Persian on top of European languages.
